Job Scope

The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital & static signages, architectural, structural and OOH advertising projects across Dubai and the wider UAE. This role combines strong technical understanding of latest commercial displays, LED screens , network architecture and construction with proven project management expertise. The ideal candidate will manage timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring projects meet Hypermedia’s design, quality, and operational standards.

This position requires an individual with an Electrical Engineering and technical background, solid construction experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams from concept to completion. A PMP certification is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of architectural and OOH advertising (digital + static) installation projects from inception to handover.
• Oversee all project stages, including design coordination, permitting, procurement, construction, and close-out.
• Prepare, submit, and follow up on permit applications with relevant authorities (e.g., RTA, Keolis, Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, Tecom., etc. Dealing with Mall management, securing work permits and all approvals to ensure timely project completion. 
• Coordinate with internal design, production, and operations teams to align project goals and ensure seamless execution.
• Manage subcontractors, monitor performance, and enforce adherence to project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, risk registers, and progress reports; proactively identify and mitigate potential delays or cost overruns.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor installation progress, resolve technical challenges, and ensure compliance with approved designs and safety standards.
• Prepare and review RFPs, tenders, and contractual documentation, providing both technical and commercial input.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, approvals, progress reports, and close-out materials.
• Ensure all work meets Hypermedia’s quality standards and UAE regulatory requirements through active QA/QC oversight.
• Drive continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency across departments.

Required Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Structural, Mechanical) , Architectural, Interior Design, or a related discipline (required).
• 7-10 years of experience managing digital signage, structural, architectural, construction, or fit-out projects, preferably within advertising or retail environments.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, permitting processes, and authority submission requirements.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credential (preferred).
• Proven experience in budget management, scheduling, procurement, and resource allocation.
• Understanding of QA/QC, materials, and site safety standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and AutoCAD (or similar design tools).
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory (for site supervision).
